Market Risk Manager (Crypto)

Location: Singapore; office-based role in the CBD area

What you will do

• Monitor and manage market risks across Spot and Derivatives products.
• Assess risks in new and existing products, including pricing, volatility, liquidity, and counterparty exposure.
• Develop and enhance risk frameworks, limits, and monitoring processes.
• Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate potential market risks.
• Partner with Trading, Product, and Engineering to embed risk controls.
• Provide risk insights to senior management and contribute to firm-wide risk governance and strategic risk decisions.

Requirements

• Experience in market risk, trading risk, or financial risk.
• Strong understanding of Spot and Derivatives markets.
• Exposure to one or more of Options, Structured Products, or Earn/yield products.
• Ability to assess volatility, liquidity, and counterparty risks.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable risk insights.
• Hands-on data skills, including Excel.
• Experience in crypto or digital asset markets.
• Familiarity with options or non-linear products.
• Exposure to Enterprise Risk Management or firm-wide risk governance, with a background in quantitative methods such as VaR and stress testing.

Nice to have

• Python or SQL skills are a plus but not required.
