Java Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-scale backend services using Java and Spring technologies.
• Build and support robust microservices and enterprise-grade web applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit.
• Work within an Agile engineering team and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Participate in technical discussions, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and engineering communities.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java development, including Java 8 or later.
• Deep knowledge of the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related modules.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Experience building and supporting microservices-based architectures.
• Expertise in writing unit and integration tests with JUnit.
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle and Cassandra.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or ActiveMQ, and exposure to container platforms and cloud-native technologies including Docker and OpenShift.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
