Senior Java Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable backend applications and APIs for Open Bankhirify.global, XS2A, payment, and settlement services.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testhirify.global solutions, and observability practices while monitorhirify.global application performance.
• Apply hirify.global frameworks, tools, standards, engineerhirify.global best practices, and risk documentation requirements.
• Support service consumers and stakeholders, mentor team members, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software engineerhirify.global experience ushirify.global Java.
• Strong expertise in Java 21+, Sprhirify.global Boot, and microservices development.
• Experience buildhirify.global secure, scalable REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and data persistence frameworks.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaghirify.global platforms.
• Hands-on experience with automated testhirify.global and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-native and DevOps practices, includhirify.global experience workhirify.global in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Strong understandhirify.global of software architecture, design patterns, and engineerhirify.global best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solvhirify.global, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineerhirify.global, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Bankhirify.global or financial services industry experience.
• Experience workhirify.global within large international organizations.
• Cloud platform experience such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Frontend development experience with JavaScript or Web Components.
