What you will do

• Build and automate security tools and AI-assisted workflows for investigations, enrichment, access reviews, and reporting.
• Strengthen identity and access controls across Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, and Google Cloud, including Conditional Access, least privilege, and privileged access practices.
• Develop data-loss prevention controls across endpoints, cloud services, and collaboration tools to protect intellectual property and CUI.
• Partner with AppSec and infrastructure teams to integrate secrets detection, dependency scanning, vulnerability checks, and self-service security guardrails into CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate compliance with CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171 by collecting evidence and continuously checking controls.
• Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and implement scalable fixes across the security environment.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, IT, cloud, or a related technical field, including building solutions and solving technical problems.
• Ability to use scripting, automation, and APIs with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar tools.
• Experience using AI coding assistants and LLMs to prototype, learn tools, and automate work, with the judgment to verify their output.
• Ability to collaborate across IAM, DLP, cloud, AppSec, and GRC functions.
• Working knowledge of identity and access, authentication and authorization, networking, common attack techniques, and security-event investigation.
• Curiosity, self-direction, willingness to test ideas, and ability to learn by doing.
