Senior UI Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and maintain reusable UI components with React and modern frontend practices.
• Develop resource pages and implement UI features within an existing digital platform.
• Adapt, migrate, and refactor legacy Liquid templates or similar server-side templating environments for modern frontend architectures.
• Use design systems, component libraries, frontend tooling, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor to accelerate development.
• Refactor site architecture and improve code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with design and technology teams to translate requirements into high-quality interfaces and deliver efficiently within complex codebases and tight timelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend or UI engineering, ideally in agency or enterprise web environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and reusable component development.
• Direct experience with Liquid templates or similar templating engines such as Jinja, Nunjucks, or Twig.
• Experience with legacy frontend architectures and migrating or integrating templated pages with modern React components.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience using design systems and component libraries to build consistent, scalable interfaces.
• Ability to work efficiently within complex codebases and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal onboarding.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to balance development speed with code quality, and effective communication and collaboration with design and technology teams.
• If holding a degree in Engineering or a related profession, the selected candidate must present the required professional license.
