Senior Software Engineers (C#/.NET) (AI-powered SaaS): Building backend-heavy features and AI-powered product capabilities for asset integrity management software with an accent on scalable architecture, robust LLM integrations, and production-ready engineering. Focus on designing intelligent workflows, integrating AI services, and solving latency, cost, reliability, and hallucination challenges in industrial environments.
Location: Hybrid in Croatia, with working locations in Zagreb or Pula

What you will do
- Design, build, test, and ship backend-heavy features across the SaaS platform.
- Write maintainable C#/.NET code and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
- Translate business requirements into technical implementations with Product and Design.
- Build and integrate AI-powered capabilities, including LLM integrations, intelligent workflows, and data-driven features.
- Bring AI services into production with robust observability and reliability.
- Use AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex, and share effective practices with the engineering team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in a SaaS or enterprise product environment.
- Strong backend engineering experience with C#/.NET.
- Knowledge of clean code, SOLID principles, architectural patterns, and API design.
- Experience with relational databases and cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, code reviews, and collaborative engineering practices.
- Experience shipping AI-powered features using LLMs, embeddings, agents, or similar technologies, including an understanding of latency, cost, reliability, and hallucination trade-offs.
Nice to have
- Experience with prompt engineering, RAG patterns, or OpenAI and Azure OpenAI integrations.
- Knowledge of oil and gas, industrial, or asset-intensive domains.
- Full-stack experience with React or similar frontend frameworks.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, complex data models, or domain-driven design.
