SDN Presales Architect (Cloud Operations Suite CSP/MSP)

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, or Sydney.

What you will do

• Partner with sales and presales teams to drive technical sales processes for Cloud Operations Suite solutions.
• Design and implement complex hybrid and multi-cloud architectures for CSP/MSP partners and their customers.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, proofs of concept, and initial software implementations.
• Act as the technical bridge between customers, partners, product management, and development teams.
• Support customer success through enablement, post-sales assistance, troubleshooting, and solution optimization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of solution architecture experience.
• Strong enterprise networking knowledge, including routing, switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, and network security.
• Experience with SDN, network virtualization, overlays and underlays, VXLAN/EVPN, network automation, cloud networking, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, and container technologies.
• Programming skills in technologies such as Java, Python, PHP, JSON, NodeJS, or JavaScript.
• Strong presentation, consultative selling, technical communication, and customer-facing skills; professional communication in English and applicable local languages is required as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes networking, AIOps, AI-driven network operations, or agentic automation.
• Familiarity with MCP and AI/LLM-based infrastructure management.
• IT Operations Management, enterprise presales, sales engineering, or solutions architecture experience.
• Relevant networking or cloud certifications.
