Assurance Senior Associate (CPG)

What you will do

• Plan and design audit procedures with audit teams and clients in accordance with accounting and auditing standards.
• Assess financial risks, recommend controls, and lead fieldwork covering financial statements, internal controls, and transactional data.
• Maintain client relationships, communicate audit findings, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare audit reports identifying material weaknesses and deficiencies in financial reporting.
• Evaluate compliance with industry-specific regulations, including revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Supervise and train junior staff, review their work, manage engagement budgets and resources, and improve audit processes.

Requirements

• Must have a current, accepted offer with hirify.global, formerly Anchin or Berkowitz Pollack Brant.
• Master's degree, BA/BS, in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA Candidate completing the CPA before November 2026.
• 5+ years of audit experience, preferably with exposure to architecture, engineering, and construction clients.
• Profound knowledge of tax regulations, financial services, and relevant tax software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
