Director, Software Test Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the Testing Pillar’s multi-year transformation roadmap and strategic plans with the Senior Director.
• Lead Analysts, Consultants, and Senior Consultants across a regional or shared-service remit while setting schedules and priorities.
• Oversee go-to-market planning, launch readiness, enablement, training, stakeholder communication, and post-launch optimization for an enterprise testing platform targeted for delivery within 12 months.
• Integrate AI, automation, intelligent analytics, and machine learning into the testing product and operational workflows.
• Develop dashboards, reports, documentation, performance metrics, and cost-benefit analyses to support senior stakeholder decisions.
• Coordinate product, engineering, design, support, Client Services, Technology, and regional Testing teams; improve processes, client experience, service standards, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience delivering successful large initiatives with demonstrated business value.
• At least 5 years of software testing experience, including Payments, Mobile, Web-based, and Client-Server applications using both manual and automation techniques.
• At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, or Product Operations roles.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery.
• Proven people-leadership experience, aptitude, and success.
• Strong AI expertise, including AI adoption, implementation, and integration into products and operational workflows, automation, intelligent analytics, and machine learning.
• Degree in Computer or Process Engineering, MIS, or a technology-related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience using data and AI-powered insights to drive decisions.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, MS Project, Copilot, Productboard, or comparable product and project management tools.
• Track record of introducing new methods and thought processes to improve business processes.
• Experience working in SaaS or technology-driven companies.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of operational improvement frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Exposure to customer success or support operations.
