Senior QA Automation Engineer (UI/API)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated UI and API tests for enterprise applications and integrations.
• Build scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using software engineering principles, design patterns, coding standards, and development best practices.
• Develop regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end test scenarios across enterprise applications and business-critical processes.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to define testing strategies.
• Analyze test results, identify defects and risks, provide technical recommendations, and support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve test coverage, execution efficiency, reporting, documentation, and automation practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with UI and API test automation.
• Strong programming and development knowledge, particularly in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar languages.
• Good understanding of software development principles and design patterns applicable to test automation.
• Experience designing or contributing to automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience with Cucumber/BDD and Allure Reports or similar test reporting solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD servers and pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Salesforce testing, MuleSoft, and integration testing.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, particularly HCM, P2P, R2R, or Taxes/Tax Management modules.
• Experience with e-commerce testing, including customer journeys, checkout, payments, orders, integrations, and related workflows.
• Experience testing complex enterprise integrations and distributed systems.
• Experience with test automation in cloud-based environments.
