Quality Assurance Analyst (Software Applications Analysis, Sr. Analyst)

Location: Fully on-site in Charleston, South Carolina, United States. No travel required.

Salary: $80,000–$96,000 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze complex business and system requirements to identify testable conditions, risks, edge cases, and alternative testing approaches.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test plans, cases, and scripts aligned with SDLC best practices.
• Document test results and communicate defects, trends, quality risks, testing status, and quality metrics.
• Perform impact and what-if analysis for system changes, integrations, existing functionality, and downstream processes.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product stakeholders, clients, and other stakeholders to validate requirements, coverage, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into functional and non-functional test scenarios and provide testing methodology and automation expertise.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with the software development lifecycle, including analysis/design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
• Quality assurance experience and automated testing experience.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office, including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• BA/BS degree or relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance; clearance is not required to apply.

Nice to have

• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM.
• PMP or CAPM certification.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with Selenium automation within Azure DevOps.
