Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Design, operate, and standardize Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines, including shared libraries, reusable templates, quality gates, artifact versioning, and delivery metrics.
• Manage Nexus artifact workflows and migrate repositories and pipelines from Bitbucket to GitHub with minimal disruption.
• Build self-service AWS and multi-environment infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu, Terragrunt, Packer, Ansible, and immutable provisioning practices.
• Operate multi-account, multi-region AWS infrastructure alongside other providers and bare-metal environments, including IAM, networking, account vending, and access patterns.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads on EKS, bare-metal, and provider-hosted clusters with Rancher, plus AWS workloads on ECS/Fargate and Helm-based delivery.
• Integrate security scanning, secrets management, testing, documentation, governance, and architecture standards while collaborating with development, QA, studio, and platform teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform, SRE, or build/release engineering, including current hands-on work and at least 4 consecutive years with the core tools.
• At least 4+ years of HubSpot Marketing Hub campaign experience, including designing and overseeing email automation, workflows, and custom templates.
• Deep hands-on Jenkins experience with declarative pipelines, shared libraries, plugin management, controller/agent design, and troubleshooting.
• Deep Terraform and/or OpenTofu experience with module design, remote state and locking, multi-account and multi-region patterns, safe refactoring, imports, and Terragrunt.
• Linux administration, open-source tooling, AWS multi-account and multi-region architecture, IAM, VPC, networking, and Well-Architected principles.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Helm experience, including EKS or equivalent; experience with Rancher or other multi-cluster management and Kubernetes on bare metal or non-AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with Ansible, Packer, Nexus or comparable repository managers, Git workflows, branching and promotion strategies, and GitHub and/or Bitbucket administration.
• Experience with JVM build and test automation using Maven and JUnit, plus quality and security scanning such as SonarQube or similar.
• A security-first mindset demonstrated through pipeline, IaC, cloud access, least-privilege IAM, secrets, image integrity, and credential-management work.
• Experience building self-service templates, modules, golden paths, or similar capabilities consumed by multiple teams.
• Strong written and verbal English communication, good communication and problem-solving skills, initiative, and ability to work effectively with a distributed team.

Nice to have

• Experience with ECS/Fargate, Bitbucket-to-GitHub migrations, GitHub Actions or app-runner hosting, HashiCorp Vault, Liquibase, JMeter, Selenium, Snyk, StackHawk, Checkov, tfsec, and DORA-style metrics.
• Experience with hybrid public-cloud, third-party-hosting, and bare-metal environments.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments such as PCI or SOC 2, and in online gaming, gambling, or other regulated real-money gaming.
• GitOps experience with ArgoCD or Flux, internal developer platforms or portals, and relevant AWS, Terraform, or Kubernetes certifications.
