CAA ICON Data Analytics Intern – Summer 2027 (Denver, CO) (Data Analytics)

Location: Denver, CO, United States; in-person, full-time internship from May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027.

Compensation: $19.84–$26.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations for internal stakeholders.
• Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and document analytical processes and findings.
• Collaborate across functions, participate in team meetings, and present findings as appropriate.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, with expected graduation in Spring/Summer/Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
• Ability to work in Denver, Colorado.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis concepts and statistical methods.
• Familiarity with at least one analytics or programming tool, such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to recognize discrepancies.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats.
• Dependable, results-focused, ethical, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or another data visualization tool.
• Coursework or projects involving real-world data analysis.
• Familiarity with databases and querying data using SQL.
• Interest in applying data to solve business problems.
