Senior Verification Engineer (Gherkin/Python)

Location: Onsite in Stuttgart, Germany; service region Germany, France, and Switzerland. Full on-site deployment capability is required, with an option to work from home.

What you will do

• Plan and execute component, module, and interface work packages across the full lifecycle, from requirements analysis through formal verification.
• Analyze PRQs and TRQs and translate requirements into executable Gherkin-based test cases.
• Configure test environments by installing and validating software and PLC versions, integrating hardware, and maintaining test setups.
• Perform hands-on testing on physical devices and collect objective verification evidence.
• Document results, analyze defects, support root-cause investigations and corrective actions, and perform retesting and regression testing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support product quality, compliance, and successful verification outcomes.

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in technical verification and testing of integrated hardware-software or mechatronic systems.
• High proficiency in Gherkin and Python, with strong test analysis and test design capabilities.
• Very good English and German and full on-site deployment capability.
• Hands-on experience with emulators and simulators, as well as installation and configuration of software, PLCs, or hardware.
• Experience with ALM and test management, defect tracking, and agile ceremonies.
