Senior Commercial Product Manager (Marketplace)

Zoox develops and operates autonomous ride-hail vehicles and the commercial systems that support its marketplace.

What you will do

• Own the vision and priorities for pricing, promotions, incentives, and fixed-fleet deployment across ride-hail markets.
• Define objectives, constraints, models, data requirements, guardrails, and experiments for commercial systems.
• Partner with Data Science on elasticity estimation, price-effects modeling, demand and supply forecasting, supply planning, and marketplace simulation.
• Prioritize initiatives by expected business impact and effort, drive delivery across teams without direct reporting lines, manage dependencies, and protect schedules.
• Design experiments and simulation studies, set launch criteria and guardrail metrics, make ship decisions, and write performance readouts.
• Run the weekly operating cadence with Commercial Operations, Fleet Operations, and Finance, including variance diagnosis, live-lever changes, and leadership reporting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or marketplace strategy, including significant experience with marketplace products such as ride-hail, delivery, travel, or similar.
• Experience owning pricing, incentives, matching, or supply planning as a product.
• Ability to specify optimization problems in writing, including objectives, constraints, required data, guardrails, and validating experiments.
• Track record of driving roadmaps to completion through teams that do not report directly to you and changing priorities based on evidence.
• Quantitative foundation through a degree in economics, operations research, statistics, or a similar field, plus practical experience specifying or building models, running experiments, and interpreting results.
• Clear writing and presentation skills for product requirements documents and leadership readouts.
• Judgment to choose between model-based decisions and defensible heuristics for near-term delivery.

Nice to have

• Pricing or revenue management experience in capacity-constrained industries such as airlines, hotels, freight, logistics, or energy.
• Experience taking pricing, incentives, or fleet management systems from zero to production, including operator tooling, data models, and rollback plans.
• Graduate-level technical grounding in economics, operations research, statistics, or machine learning.
• Hands-on experience with experiments involving interference, including geographic and time splits, switchbacks, or holdouts, and with simulation when live testing is not feasible.
