Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Grafana Analytics

Location: Remote, Canada

Base compensation: $164,490–$197,389 CAD per year, plus RSUs. Actual compensation varies by level, experience, and skillset.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and ship high-performance full-stack AI features for discovering, organizing, and optimizing access to large datasets.
• Rapidly prototype, test, validate with users, and evolve LLM- and agent-powered workflows for the data engineering lifecycle.
• Shape AI-driven product features and integrate agentic components with internal tools such as Slack and alerting systems.
• Use AI and automation tools to improve product functionality and development workflows.
• Own AI solutions end to end, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with real user workflows.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with internal data teams for dogfooding and cross-functional development.

Requirements

• Product mindset and experience building user-facing experiences that balance utility with user delight.
• Strong software engineering background with experience building production-grade, user-facing systems that are actively used by customers.
• Experience with LLMs, context engineering, and applications powered by GenAI.
• Ability to make UI design decisions with minimal supervision and solve complex engineering problems.
• Comfort with rapid prototyping, releasing early versions, collecting feedback, and iterating pragmatically.
• Proven initiative, ownership, scope definition in ambiguous situations, and ability to drive projects forward.
• Exposure to cloud-native environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience using observability tools to understand and troubleshoot system behavior.
• Effective communication, openness to feedback, and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience building or working with agent frameworks or multi-agent workflows.
• Experience as a data analyst or with data platforms such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Experience building tools for data engineering.
