Product Manager, Claude Marketplace (AI)

Location: San Francisco, New York City or Seattle, United States; hybrid policy requiring staff to work from an office at least 25% of the time.

Annual salary: $305,000–$385,000 USD.

What you will do

• Own the Claude Marketplace end to end for partners and customers, from onboarding and listings through purchasing and billing.
• Design scalable commercial workflows that meet finance, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Shape business strategy, commercial incentives, partner programs, and platform economics with Business Development, Finance, and Legal.
• Represent the product to partners and customers, converting field feedback into the roadmap.
• Define Marketplace success metrics and measurement systems.

Requirements

• End-to-end product ownership experience, including operational workflows and accountability for outcomes.
• Experience building with or shipping products on top of large language models and using them to improve product experiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional work with teams that did not report directly to you and earning their trust.
• Ability to present to executives at partner companies and represent Anthropic effectively.
• Clear written communication that explains trade-offs to engineers, executives, and external partners.
• Commitment to Anthropic’s mission and to building an ecosystem where companies building on Claude grow alongside it.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of product management experience.
• Active experience in a marketplace, app store, or partner ecosystem on either the platform or partner side.
• Experience taking a product from zero to one while defining its users, product, and economics.
• Go-to-market instincts covering co-sell motions, partner programs, and enterprise software platform economics.
• Experience with or familiarity with high-growth AI-native companies, their business models, and growth vectors.
