What you will do

  • Investigate how the ASIC team works, identify opportunities for AI tooling, and decide what should be built.
  • Define requirements, user journeys, success criteria, and incremental milestones toward chip tapeout.
  • Prototype custom EDA tools, experiment dashboards, and other product concepts.
  • Partner with engineers to turn prototypes into reliable production systems.
  • Use coding agents to make bug fixes and UI changes, open pull requests, and learn through code review.
  • Support research across RTL optimization, design verification, architecture evaluation, and continual learning from hardware experiments.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a comparable self-taught background.
  • 1–3 years of experience in product management, engineering, research, technical program management, or a related technical role.
  • Evidence of turning an original idea into a working product, prototype, or project.
  • Fluency with coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools.
  • Experience building or evaluating LLM-powered products, with clear written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort framing ambiguous problems and an interest in chip design.

Nice to have

  • Coursework, research, or internship experience in chip architecture, digital design, verification, or hardware performance modeling.
  • Exposure to SystemVerilog.
  • Familiarity with the mechanisms underlying LLM inference.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work as part of a cross-functional group spanning product, engineering, chip architecture, verification, and hardware labs.
  • Build directly through specifications, experiments, prototypes, and small production changes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across New York City, Mountain View, London, Copenhagen, and Seoul.
  • Competitive compensation combining base salary, performance-based incentives, equity, and benefits.
  • Inclusive equal-opportunity workplace with reasonable accessibility accommodations.
