Program Manager (Cancer Survivorship)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; onsite position.

Salary: $78,000–$139,360 per year.

What you will do

• Conduct collaborative and independent clinical or population science research, including study design, implementation, and publication.
• Review experimental designs, identify research procedures and methodologies, develop and manage databases, support compliance activities, and oversee or adapt protocols.
• Assist with research operations and coordinate multiple concurrent studies, projects, and programs.
• Draft and finalize participant-facing materials, including interviewer scripts, informed consent documents, data-entry materials, and requests for medical records or specimens.
• Facilitate communication with co-investigators and support efficient multidisciplinary research delivery.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and perform other duties supporting departmental and institutional goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 4 years of experience in program management and delivery.
• Experience designing and managing programs focused on customer needs, including budget tracking, reporting, and risk management.
• Proven experience engaging senior leaders to facilitate decision-making.
• Experience providing guidance and mentorship within a program management team.
• Some experience driving continuous program improvement projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with investigators and multidisciplinary research teams.

Nice to have

• MD, MD/PhD, DO, or PhD degree.
• Experience in clinical research, population science, decision science, or a related scientific field.
• Experience with protocol development, study conduct, data analysis, and scientific writing.
• Experience supporting and coordinating multiple research studies, projects, or programs.
• Strong interest or background in cancer survivorship research and commitment to improving outcomes for childhood and adolescent cancer survivors.
