SW Development and Release Operations Technical Program Manager

Location: San Jose, United States of America

Annual salary: $185,500–$344,500 for California, plus possible incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead planning and track product releases through multiple stages.
• Define release scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Coordinate R&D developers, Product Validation, Configuration Management, and Product Engineering to achieve milestones.
• Monitor and report release progress to stakeholders.
• Develop and streamline processes, improve productivity, and remove bottlenecks.
• Monitor product quality metrics and key quality indicators.

Requirements

• 8+ years of program management experience; 10–15 years is preferred.
• Proficiency in program management and project management, including theoretical and practical project management knowledge, techniques, tools, and software.
• Background in software development and validation processes.
• Experience coordinating across groups to achieve target timelines.
• Direct experience working in a project management capacity.
• Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, and risk/change management.
• BS degree in Engineering or Science.
• Critical thinking, problem solving, planning, organization, decision-making, communication, influencing, leadership, teamwork, conflict management, and adaptability skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• MS degree.
• EDA domain knowledge, including familiarity with tool development, support, and deployment.
• Programming skills in Python, C, and C++.
• Experience developing and deploying processes for software products.
• Experience monitoring and improving software quality.
• Experience using AI tools to build release infrastructure.
