Computer Vision & Video Analytics Engineer

What you will do

• Build and maintain annotated datasets through frame extraction, labelling, quality checks, and train/validation splits.
• Train, fine-tune, and evaluate computer vision models while reporting clear metrics.
• Implement and test algorithms from research literature in an existing Python codebase.
• Write unit and regression tests and maintain technical documentation.
• Integrate pipelines on target hardware, benchmark models, and diagnose video-input and camera-setup issues.
• Evaluate new sensors by recording data, checking quality, and developing integration prototypes across ground, air, and road benches.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, engineering degree, or equivalent in computer vision, machine learning, robotics, or a related field, or a comparable portfolio.
• Good Python skills and experience with PyTorch and OpenCV.
• Knowledge of computer vision fundamentals, including object detection, tracking, camera geometry, and evaluation metrics.
• Comfort working with Git and the Linux command line.
• Curiosity, rigour, autonomy, adaptability, availability, accountability, and the ability to document work clearly.
• Passion for technology and science.
• Willingness to work in an international, diverse, geographically distributed team.
• Negotiation-level English is mandatory.
• Alignment with transparency, courage, humility, empathy, and a willingness to have fun.
