Computer Vision Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision approaches for object tracking across multiple modalities and scenarios.
• Develop a global 3D object-tracking pipeline combining classical and geometrical methods with in-house AI detection models.
• Fuse data from cameras, IMUs, radar, and other sensors to provide precise target estimation and robust tracking.
• Optimize and embed tracking algorithms on heterogeneous, compute-constrained platforms for real-time drone deployment.
• Collaborate with the GNC, Sensor Fusion, and AI teams to integrate production-ready tracking pipelines.
• Stay current with research in computer vision, tracking, and sensor fusion; mentor or manage junior engineers depending on seniority.

Requirements

• Degree in a STEM field such as computer science, robotics, engineering, or mathematics.
• Proven experience researching, developing, and productizing computer vision and sensor-fusion algorithms in hardware-constrained environments.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for real-time systems.
• Experience optimizing code for edge deployment.
• Structured, analytical, research-oriented approach and strong communication skills for explaining complex algorithmic trade-offs.
• Commitment to a demanding, fast-paced environment and to operational excellence.
