What you will do

• Identify, build, and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, professional contacts, and personal contacts to generate mortgage lending referrals.
• Interview new and existing customers to determine loan needs and advise on suitable products, terms, and pricing.
• Gather required information and generate complete mortgage applications while following procedures and policies.
• Achieve sales and referral goals by delivering a positive customer experience.
• Develop and expand customer relationships to build a book of business and support branch success.
• Participate in business development, community homeownership initiatives, professional organizations, and capability-building opportunities.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales.
• At least two years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
• Minimum documented residential mortgage loan volume of $8 million during the past 12 months.
• Established relationships with local referral networks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with a broad range of audiences.
• Strong computer skills and experience using laptop technology.
• Successful completion of all SAFE Act requirements, including required background checks and obtaining a Unique Identifier from the NMLS.
