Software Chief Technology Office - Finance Analyst

Location: Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico

Salary: $93,400–$143,800 USD annually for United States of America candidates only, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Provide financial support, expertise, and strategic partnership to CTO Software business teams and business leaders.
• Lead or contribute to functional project teams and cross-functional initiatives, including process improvements and policy development.
• Perform complex and highly complex financial analysis, forecast financial results, and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
• Lead business initiatives and oversee analysts across multiple finance sub-functions.
• Represent the business unit in cross-regional and cross-functional planning processes and represent the organization to external customers and clients.
• Build productive internal and external relationships, mentor lower-level employees, and independently resolve complex business issues.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 7–10 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, economics, finance, financial analysis, financial modeling, financial planning, and financial statements.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, investments, KPIs, P&L management, SAP applications, and variance analysis.
• Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, customer centricity, and attention to detail.
• Ownership, independent decision-making, critical thinking, continuous improvement, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
