Senior Financial Analyst (Clinical Solutions)

Location: Remote in Brazil, Canada, or Mexico. Occasional domestic and international travel, including overnight stays, may be required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employer sponsorship.

What you will do

• Support clinical trial project teams with budgeting, financial management, invoicing, and revenue recognition activities.
• Prepare monthly invoicing worksheets and perform variance analysis between forecasted and actual revenue.
• Review work orders and change-order budgets against actual activities to identify out-of-scope work.
• Perform monthly Earned Value Analyses and participate in project review meetings with Project Directors and Project Managers.
• Support contract document preparation, including statements of work and change orders.
• Support general ledger functions, financial reporting, month-end close, and improvements to procedures and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• At least five years of experience in general ledger and financial reporting, including accounting-cycle activities, project budgets, financial project support, Earned Value Analysis, and contract review.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, QuickBooks or a related accounting package, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple assignments and organizational functions.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Legal authorization to work in Brazil, Canada, or Mexico without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• MBA.
• CPA qualification for North America or an equivalent local qualification.
• Clinical Research Organization industry experience.
• QuickBooks experience.
