Location: Houston, Texas, USA; hybrid work model; rotating shifts and occasional irregular hours may be required.

What you will do

• Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, professional weather forecasts and alerts in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Respond to client questions by phone and email, including scheduled weather briefings and time-sensitive requests.
• Analyze weather models, satellite imagery, radar, and other meteorological tools to inform forecasts.
• Continuously monitor weather conditions for clients subscribing to metwatching services and prepare end-of-shift summaries.
• Coordinate weather products with internal teams and support client operational needs.
• Complete training to become a qualified watch-stander, build knowledge of client operations and weather-related challenges, and continue developing forecasting skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in meteorology or a related physical science, or equivalent military experience.
• Familiarity with Windows-based software, including Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and occasional irregular hours for meetings or operational needs.
• Professional and collaborative approach, with openness to feedback and different perspectives.
• Curiosity about how AI can turn weather data into actionable intelligence and willingness to explore its potential.
