Field Scientist (Environmental Science)

Location: Pipersville, Pennsylvania, United States, with fieldwork throughout West Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

What you will do

• Perform field sampling of water, soil, air, and other materials.
• Support engineering, geologic, hydrogeologic, and environmental investigations.
• Assist with office-based geologic and engineering work, including data analysis and report preparation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes.
• Build technical knowledge through diverse projects across multiple industries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Environmental Science.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to perform fieldwork year-round, potentially for extended durations.
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD or ArcGIS.
