Senior PR and Communications Manager (Fintech)

Location: London or Cardiff office, or distributed working within the UK; meetings in London and potential international travel.

Salary: £95,000–£115,000 plus benefits.

What you will do

• Plan and execute PR activity in established European markets, including Ireland and Spain.
• Lead go-to-market PR strategies for new EU markets, including resource planning, launch plans, and day-to-day execution.
• Develop consumer press campaigns, localized stories, and reactive media opportunities while balancing global and local communications.
• Manage spokespeople and advise senior leaders on external communications, media training, engagement, and storytelling.
• Collaborate with product, commercial, operations, marketing, social, influencer, and leadership teams to identify and amplify PR opportunities.
• Manage international agencies and team members, build media relationships, handle press enquiries, use data to adapt strategy, and establish processes in new markets.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading tailored and scalable PR strategies across multiple international markets.
• Experience launching brands with limited brand awareness in new European markets.
• Track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Strong experience working with and managing external agencies across multiple markets.
• Ability to understand local media and audience nuances and adapt strategy accordingly.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and deliver creative, high-impact PR campaigns.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
