Security Operations Specialist (Logistics)

Location: Remote or Belgrade, Nis, and Novi Sad, Serbia. Remote work is available; office mode is preferred. Working schedule: Thursday–Monday, 7 am–4 pm CST.

What you will do

• Protect the integrity of high-value freight by applying company security and transportation processes.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, security contractors, external partners, and internal teams to address security concerns.
• Monitor freight in transit using surveillance systems, GPS tracking, and other tools, and escalate suspicious activity.
• Conduct shipment risk assessments and identify threats and vulnerabilities along transportation routes.
• Enter and confirm shipment milestones in McLeod and other systems, including departure, arrival, and proof of delivery.
• Download temperature records, photos, proof of delivery, and other paperwork to load documents and customer portals for billing completion.

Requirements

• Upper-intermediate English is mandatory.
• At least three years of experience in security and compliance and/or customer service, plus at least three years of logistics experience.
• Advanced knowledge of the supply chain industry, including regulations and customer requirements.
• Ability to multitask under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment, and maintain extreme attention to detail.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication, conflict-resolution experience, emotional intelligence, and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to understand and communicate drivers’ temperature requirements, mileage, and hours of service during transit.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Self-confident, self-motivated, extroverted, and flexible personality.

Nice to have

• College degree in supply chain.
• Knowledge of TSA and GDP practices.
