What you will do

• Design, develop, test, enhance, and support applications, APIs, data solutions, databases, integrations, and third-party technology platforms.
• Balance application development with production support, troubleshooting, configuration, integration, and ongoing application support.
• Investigate technical problems across existing systems, unfamiliar code, and technologies, and resolve application and data-related issues.
• Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code; use GitHub and Azure DevOps for source control, code management, and deployment.
• Assist with data models, database design, data acquisition, data movement, and related integration solutions.
• Collaborate with development, data, senior technology, and business teams on requirements, implementation details, code reviews, testing, risk controls, and audit-related issues.

Requirements

• Associate's degree plus at least 3 years of systems analysis and/or application development experience, or bachelor's degree plus at least 1 year of such experience; alternatively, at least 5 years of combined education and relevant work experience including at least 1 year of systems analysis and/or application development experience.
• Professional proficiency in at least one relevant programming language and experience with Microsoft technologies, including .NET.
• Experience developing and supporting web-based applications and services.
• Experience with SQL Server, SQL development, and relational databases.
• Experience building, consuming, supporting, or troubleshooting APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with data modeling, database design, data acquisition, and data movement solutions.
• Experience supporting production applications, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving application and data-related problems.
• Experience using source control and code management tools such as GitHub and/or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, version control, unit testing, and controlled software delivery.
• Ability to analyze technical and business requirements, translate them into effective solutions, investigate unfamiliar technologies and complex problems, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, time-management, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow SDLC practices and the Bank's risk, regulatory, internal control, audit, and escalation standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise data integration, transformation, or data warehousing initiatives.
• Experience across custom-developed and third-party or vendor applications, including development, production support, troubleshooting, configuration, and integration.
• Experience in structured technology environments with established processes and controls, Agile teams, iterative delivery, modernization, or technology transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to AI-enabled development tools or cloud-native technologies.
• Comfort with ambiguity, undefined technical problems, autonomous work, multitasking across moderately complex initiatives, and maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Ability to build relationships with business partners while maintaining technical depth, plus curiosity, adaptability, ownership, and eagerness to learn new technologies and business domains.
