What you will do

• Shape enterprise agentic AI strategy, UK and Ireland pursuits, client propositions, architecture blueprints, and executable delivery approaches.
• Design architecture for production-grade agentic AI systems covering multi-agent workflows, orchestration, tool use, memory, context strategy, retrieval, evaluation, observability, and enterprise integration.
• Establish reusable governance, auditability, traceability, safeguards, engineering standards, and architecture patterns for reliable production systems.
• Lead complex programmes and C-suite engagements, validate architecture, unblock teams, manage technical risk, and connect solutions to measurable business value.
• Partner with product, data, software engineering, enterprise architecture, governance, and change specialists on end-to-end solutions for regulated enterprises.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, evaluate emerging technologies, raise engineering capability, and represent agentic AI expertise in strategic conversations and industry forums.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in modern software engineering and Python, with a strong track record of setting standards for testing, CI/CD, observability, maintainability, and production reliability.
• Recognised experience architecting and delivering complex GenAI and agentic AI systems at enterprise scale from discovery through production deployment.
• Deep knowledge of agentic architectures and frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, or equivalent, including tool use, orchestration, memory, and multi-agent coordination.
• Strong expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation, advanced information retrieval, vector databases, and enterprise knowledge integration.
• Experience designing evaluation strategies for GenAI and agentic systems across quality, safety, reliability, latency, and cost.
• Strong understanding of AI governance and safeguards, including guardrails, red-teaming, observability, responsible AI, and secure deployment.
• Significant experience deploying AI systems on major cloud platforms using containers, orchestration, and production-grade infrastructure patterns.
• Experience with model adaptation and optimisation, including prompt and context engineering, appropriate fine-tuning, and application-level performance optimisation.
• Ability to make architecture trade-offs across model capability, reliability, security, compliance, performance, and cost; lead C-suite and senior client engagements; shape high-value opportunities; build investment cases; and contribute to pipeline conversion.
• Ability to lead AI maturity assessments, prioritise processes for agentization, communicate complex concepts and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences, and lead multidisciplinary delivery.
• Ability to influence without formal authority, align stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, mentor senior technical leaders, and raise standards across the engineering community.
