Data Analytics & Automation Intern (Power BI)

Location: Sant Cugat del Valles, Barcelona, Spain. On-site role. Candidates must be currently enrolled at a university in Spain, remain enrolled until the end of the internship, and be eligible to sign an internship agreement with their university. Availability is required from February 2027 through June–July 2027.

What you will do

• Collect, consolidate, and analyze operational and financial data to monitor business performance, identify trends and gaps, and find improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting views for KPIs and sub-KPIs.
• Identify repetitive manual tasks and support automation solutions that improve efficiency, data accuracy, and scalability.
• Improve reporting processes, data quality, and visualization tools based on business needs and stakeholder feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and EMEA to translate requirements into analytics and digitalization solutions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a university degree in Spain in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Must remain enrolled until the end of the internship and be eligible to sign an internship agreement with the university.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and interest in data-driven decision-making.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data management.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset are required, including effective collaboration, active listening, and clear communication of ideas and findings.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in an international team.
• Good command of English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, especially dashboard, report, and KPI monitoring view development.
• Familiarity with Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, VBA, or Microsoft Power Automate.
• Previous experience in data analytics, reporting, or process automation projects.
