Senior Fullstack Engineer (Python/React)

Location: Warsaw, Poland. Relocation to Warsaw is required. Office-first, working primarily from the Warsaw studio in a full-time or hybrid mode.

Salary: 17,800–30,600 PLN gross monthly.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Deliver complete features from data models and service architecture through React-based user interfaces.
• Design integrations between internal applications, production systems, and external services.
• Improve system reliability, security, maintainability, and performance through pragmatic architectural decisions.
• Deploy, monitor, operate, and troubleshoot applications in a public cloud environment.
• Collaborate with product, UX, infrastructure, and game development teams; own larger work areas and gradually support team coordination, communication, priorities, and dependencies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience and professional software engineering experience at senior level.
• Deep expertise in Python and backend development, including FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, or comparable frameworks and libraries.
• Experience designing maintainable APIs, data models, integrations, and service architectures.
• Hands-on experience developing backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining complete user-facing features with React and TypeScript; deep UI specialization is not required.
• Good working knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL.
• Experience deploying, operating, or troubleshooting applications in a public cloud environment.
• Understanding of containerization, CI/CD, application monitoring, production support, authentication, authorization, secure API design, and web application security.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including automated testing, code review, debugging, maintainable design, ownership, clear communication, and collaboration in an international cross-functional environment.
• Interest in developing toward a Coordinator position, supported by strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience building distributed or event-driven systems using Redis or Kafka.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, container orchestration, or cloud-native observability.
• Experience developing internal tools for technical or creative users.
• Experience in game development, media production, digital-content pipelines, or another domain with complex production workflows.
