Graduate Process Engineer (Industrial Simulation)

Location: Hybrid in Horten or Fornebu, Norway; flexibility to travel to customer sites when required.

What you will do

• Build, configure, and run dynamic process simulation models using K-Spice® and LedaFlow®.
• Support integration of dynamic models with control systems.
• Prepare simulators for engineering testing, virtual commissioning, operator training, and real-time production monitoring.
• Work with experienced engineers to understand customer processes and solve technical industrial challenges.
• Test and document simulation models and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with process engineers, software specialists, and other technical disciplines while improving tools and products.

Requirements

• Recently completed or soon-to-be-completed BSc or MSc in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Structured and analytical approach to solving technical problems, with curiosity and a genuine appetite to learn.
• Interest in process simulation, industrial software, or energy operations.
• Collaborative and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to communicate and work effectively across technical disciplines.
• Fluency in English and Norwegian or another Scandinavian language.
• Flexibility to travel to customer sites when required.

Nice to have

• Interest or academic experience in Python programming, digitalisation, industrial AI, energy-transition technologies, or CO₂ capture, transportation, and storage.
