Facilities Procurement Specialist (Aviation)

What you will do

• Formulate and implement procurement category strategies for facilities, utilities, training software, and service providers.
• Identify, evaluate, engage, and monitor strategic vendors while managing supplier performance and contract value delivery.
• Collaborate with business development, legal, finance, training center leaders, and other internal stakeholders.
• Lead pre-contract requirements, RFPs, contracts, renewals, statements of work, SLAs, and vendor performance reviews.
• Conduct market intelligence, develop supplier strategies, identify supplier development opportunities, and channel innovation.
• Lead cross-functional cost-reduction, spend-analysis, and cost-optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• University undergraduate degree, such as a bachelor’s or B.Sc., in commerce or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a broad understanding of procurement.
• Ability to manage virtual, geographically dispersed vendors.
• Strong negotiation skills and demonstrable business acumen.
• Relationship-building skills.
• Excellent task and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the aviation market and its procurement processes.
• Experience writing specific summaries, reports, business letters, and business plans.
• Bilingual French and English.
