Data Scientist (GenAI & Advanced Analytics)

Location: Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany; other locations include Madrid and Barcelona, Spain; Milan, Italy; and Amsterdam, Netherlands.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy analytics solutions using advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and GenAI.
• Develop new products, enhance existing solutions, and support innovative projects.
• Collaborate with business units, software engineering, and production teams to implement analytical solutions.
• Apply statistical expertise to anomaly detection for quality control, data imputation, projection methodologies, and ad hoc analysis.
• Support patient and commercial analytics projects using machine learning, causal analysis, and GenAI.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, or a PhD with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Strong expertise in statistical and machine learning methods.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, cross-functional team.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and experience with pharmaceutical data, including medical, hospital, pharmacy, or claims data.

Nice to have

• Experience developing GenAI applications.
• Fluency in German.
