Internship: Indirect Procurement

Location: Hybrid in Oegstgeest, Netherlands; minimum 2 days per week on-site at the European Headquarters, with up to 3 days per week working from home.

Salary: €550 per month based on full-time hours.

What you will do

• Support Category Managers with RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes for MRO, Facility, Freight, ad-hoc categories, and spot-buy requests.
• Evaluate supplier proposals using total cost of ownership models, including pricing, service levels, and sustainability impacts.
• Research market trends, supplier landscapes, and macroeconomic factors to support category sourcing strategies.
• Assist with commercial terms, negotiation sessions, contract approvals, legal and finance coordination, contract archiving, and renewal tracking.
• Manage ad-hoc purchase orders and support the Procure-to-Pay process in SAP Ariba.
• Extract, clean, and analyze procurement data; prepare spend reports and maintain KPI dashboards in Google Sheets or Looker Studio.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field for the entire duration of the internship.
• Currently enrolled at a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite, particularly Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.
• Proactive attitude, high attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced, multicultural corporate environment.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new systems such as SAP Ariba and procurement methodologies.
