Internal Communications and Engagement Manager

Location: Fareham, United Kingdom; ideally around London or the South East, with some remote working possible. Support is required across the country, with occasional travel to Sweden.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver an internal communications strategy aligned with hirify.global UK’s vision, values, and goals.
• Plan and manage communications campaigns for business updates, key initiatives, and change programmes.
• Create, edit, and manage content across intranet, newsletters, and internal social platforms, including digital and basic design work.
• Partner with senior leaders, HR, and leadership teams to support employee engagement, culture, and change communication.
• Enable two-way communication through surveys, Q&A sessions, town halls, and other feedback mechanisms.
• Manage the communications calendar, platforms, engagement metrics, and internal events while collaborating with brand and marketing teams when needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications.
• Experience driving cultural change in an organisation and a strong understanding of employee engagement principles, culture-building, and change communication.
• Strong organisational skills, the ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritise, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor clear messaging for different audiences and platforms.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing at all levels of an organisation.
• Ability to work as part of a close team, demonstrate a can-do attitude, take on challenges, and solve problems.
• Comfort using analytics and engagement metrics to inform communication planning.
• Knowledge of inclusion and accessibility best practices in communication.
• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, HR, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
