Global Publishing Communications Manager

What you will do

• Translate strategic direction into communications plans, content calendars and channel plans.
• Deliver communications for strategic, change and transformation programmes, leadership initiatives and employee engagement activity.
• Write and produce leader briefings, intranet articles, Viva Engage content, videos, scripts, newsletters, town hall materials and campaign content.
• Manage core Publishing communications channels and coordinate global content with local teams in Germany, the UK, Poland and France.
• Support communications measurement by gathering data, feedback and channel insights and turning them into reporting.
• Identify communications risks and support sensitive issue or crisis communications under the direction of the Global Communications Lead.

Requirements

• Experience in corporate, internal, change or transformation communications within a large, complex and matrixed organisation.
• Ability to turn strategic direction into high-quality communications plans and content to tight deadlines.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills across intranet, video, newsletters and leadership materials.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and stakeholders, including in sensitive situations.
• Ability to work across multiple markets, cultures and time zones with local communications teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in publishing, media or a related consumer-facing industry.
• Familiarity with communications measurement and employee engagement evaluation.
• German, Polish or French language skills.
