AWS System Administrator (AWS)

What you will do

• Administer AWS accounts, organizational units, guardrails, cross-account access, IAM, and identity integrations.
• Operate AWS networking, private endpoints, hybrid and cross-region connectivity, DNS, edge delivery, and load balancing.
• Maintain security baselines, threat detection, vulnerability management, certificates, PKI, secrets, and audit evidence.
• Operate Control Tower landing zones, Terraform modules, infrastructure pipelines, CI/CD automation, EC2, Linux and Windows systems.
• Manage ECS/Fargate, EKS, ECR, storage, managed databases, backups, retention, replication, and disaster-recovery testing.
• Lead incident restoration, approved changes, monitoring, documentation, cost optimization, operational handovers, and technical mentoring.

Requirements

• Hands-on administration of production AWS environments, including multi-account governance, IAM, networking, compute, storage, monitoring, and backup.
• Understanding of the AWS shared responsibility model, least privilege, encryption, secure configuration, and operational resilience.
• Practical Terraform, Git, CI/CD, AWS CLI, and scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Linux and/or Windows administration experience, plus working knowledge of container operations and managed database infrastructure.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, prioritization, independent decision-making, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• On-site work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is required.

Nice to have

• Current AWS operations, architecture, DevOps, security, or networking certification.
• Experience with Control Tower, IAM Identity Center, Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid and cross-region networking, EKS, ECS/Fargate, PKI, mutual TLS, or regulated data retention.
