TL;DR
Linux System Administrator (Infrastructure Monitoring): Building, monitoring, maintaining, automating, and supporting a large global hosting infrastructure with an accent on Linux operations, alert triage, networking, DNS, and hardware troubleshooting. Focus on diagnosing infrastructure incidents, coordinating remote hardware procedures with data center technicians, reducing alert noise, and maintaining reliable shift handovers.
Location: Hybrid, with offices in Vilnius, Kaunas, Jakarta, or Luxembourg; remote work is also available from anywhere in the world.
Salary: From €1,900/month, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do
- Monitor a large hosting infrastructure covering servers, networks, DNS, and storage, and respond when issues occur.
- Triage alerts, identify whether incidents involve hardware, networking, or higher-level systems, and resolve or escalate them.
- Run remote hardware procedures with data center technicians worldwide.
- Tune noisy alerts and document recurring incidents.
- Coordinate shift handovers with the Infrastructure Monitoring team in Indonesia.
- Collaborate with data center technicians, systems and network engineers, and service-owning teams.
Requirements
- Comfort working in the Linux command line, including SSH, logs, and basic troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking and DNS.
- Experience building and maintaining a home lab, such as a Raspberry Pi, Proxmox laptop, self-hosted Pi-hole, or Minecraft server.
- Ability to stay calm during incidents, ask questions, and avoid guessing.
- English sufficient for daily written and spoken communication with a distributed team.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts after probation: 9:00–18:00 or 17:00–02:00.
- Ability to document work for the next person on shift.
