Senior Software Engineer (Autopsy) (TypeScript/Node.js)

Location: Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland; hybrid work from the Helsinki office 3 days a week, with the option to work abroad for up to 30 days annually.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and frontend applications for campaign automation and advertising optimization.
• Develop and evolve Triggers, Ad Rotation, hirify.global Actions, and Action Router across multiple media platforms.
• Contribute to technical, architectural, cross-team, and platform decisions that improve scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
• Own projects from problem definition and planning through implementation and delivery.
• Improve system quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, monitoring, and continuous engineering improvements.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical collaboration.

Requirements

• Strong experience building backend services with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience developing modern React applications using TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, microservice architectures, and cloud-native development practices.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests at unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
• Ability to independently drive projects from problem definition through delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience working across multiple teams and functions.
• Customer-focused, pragmatic problem-solving, and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Interest in mentoring and supporting the growth of other engineers.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from the Helsinki office 3 days a week, or more.
