Lead Backend Engineer, Trading Risk

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for Trading Risk, including risk monitoring, alerting, data services, and risk platform capabilities.
• Build and optimize real-time data processing pipelines with emphasis on system reliability, performance, observability, and data consistency.
• Own projects independently from technical design and development through integration, rollout, and production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Risk, Data Platform, and other engineering teams on cross-functional projects.
• Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvements to engineering quality and development efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering fundamentals and a solid understanding of distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go, or strong experience in C++ or Java with willingness to work primarily in Go.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, databases, caching, concurrency, and data consistency.
• Strong problem-solving, system design, project ownership, and production troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time data processing or data infrastructure, such as CDC/Binlog, Flink, Doris, or ClickHouse.
• Experience designing and building large-scale, high-throughput, or low-latency systems.
• Experience in Trading, Risk, Asset, Market Data, Clearing/Settlement, or related financial systems.
