Full Stack Java Developer

Location: On-site in Laurel, Montana, or New Jersey, United States; face-to-face interview required.

Salary: $40–$45 per hour on W2 or C2C, all inclusive.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs, reusable service components, API Gateway integrations, and webhook-based solutions.
• Develop modern user interfaces with React, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or equivalent platforms, including Docker-based containerized deployments.
• Integrate MongoDB, SQL, NoSQL databases, Kafka, MQ, and event-driven architecture.
• Collaborate with Agile and DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and deployment strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of software development experience, including at least 7 years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and REST API development.
• Experience with React, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms, as well as Docker, containerization, and cloud deployments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Kafka, MQ, or other messaging and event-streaming solutions; API Gateway, webhook integrations, scalable application design, and Git/GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, plus experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to have

• Node.js or Vue.js development experience.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience building highly available and distributed systems.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise application development.
