Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/React)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, working EST hours. U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications for legacy system modernization.
• Analyze operational workflows and distinguish mission-critical functionality from unnecessary process overhead.
• Translate operational requirements into scalable application and platform-based designs using Palantir as the target modernization platform.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, and integration layers connecting legacy environments with modern platforms.
• Build user-facing components and support the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and data-layer issues while collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on full stack software development experience in complex or enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with relational databases, data access patterns, Agile delivery, and troubleshooting across application layers.
• Ability to analyze ambiguous, poorly documented systems, simplify complex workflows, and communicate with diverse stakeholders.

• Experience with legacy system modernization or transformation initiatives.
• Experience supporting federal or mission-driven environments.
• Exposure to enterprise data platforms and large-scale system integrations.
• Experience deriving requirements from real-world usage rather than formal documentation.
