Technical Project Manager (AI)

hirify.global builds AI-powered eCommerce products for Shopify merchants, including Clearer, Boost Commerce, REVIEWS.io and Influence.

What you will do

• Own a unified delivery plan for Clearer covering initiatives, epics and dependencies across Clearer, Boost, REVIEWS.io and the AI/ML team.
• Identify and remove dependencies, run readiness gates, and prevent unready epics from entering sprints.
• Measure lead time, cycle time, PR wait time, rework and escaped defects; identify bottlenecks and implement improvements every fortnight.
• Map human-in-the-loop automation stages, ensuring automated steps have owners, audit trails and off switches.
• Build delivery agents with Product Operations for status updates, Jira hygiene and release notes, and connect PRDs to stories, AI-generated tests and releases.
• Lead capacity and quarterly planning, manage the release calendar, and escalate delivery risks with options to the VP Product.

Requirements

• 4+ years of technical project, programme or delivery management experience in a SaaS product and engineering team across several squads.
• Technical depth to read pull requests, follow architecture discussions, challenge estimates, and understand CI/CD, test automation and APIs.
• Hands-on use of AI agents such as Claude, Claude Code, GPT or similar, including at least one self-built automation.
• Expert Jira skills, including hierarchies, automation, JQL and dashboards.
• Experience using flow metrics to change how teams work, not only to report on delivery.
• Clear and concise written communication across time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with an AI-assisted SDLC, including AI-generated tests, Playwright, MCP or agent orchestration.
• Background in eCommerce or the Shopify ecosystem.
• Experience in a scale-up or PE-backed business with shared engineering services.
• Exposure to R&D tax or capitalisation tagging.
