Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote; availability to collaborate during CET/EET working hours. Offices are available in Warsaw and Kyiv.

What you will do

• Own and improve AWS infrastructure across EKS, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, OpenSearch, and related services.
• Manage and scale GCP environments supporting AI services, data pipelines, analytics workloads, and BigQuery.
• Maintain infrastructure across Cloudflare and Hetzner, including networking, edge services, and production traffic routing.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and consistent Infrastructure as Code practices across cloud providers.
• Operate Kubernetes production environments, strengthen observability, monitoring, alerting, CI/CD, and deployment reliability.
• Contribute to multi-cloud architecture, FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and L2 on-call incident response.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on commercial DevOps experience.
• 5+ years of practical AWS experience, including EKS, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, OpenSearch, and related infrastructure components.
• Strong Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting skills, preferably with EKS.
• Advanced Terraform experience, including reusable modules, state management, and multi-provider infrastructure.
• Hands-on GCP experience, ideally including BigQuery, Compute Engine, or infrastructure supporting data pipelines.
• Strong Linux, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Experience owning production infrastructure, observability, alerting, and incident response.
• Ability to make technical decisions, explain trade-offs, and drive improvements through implementation.
• Upper-Intermediate English / B2 or higher and fluent Ukrainian for day-to-day team communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare, including R2, caching, or edge services.
• Experience with Hetzner infrastructure.
• Experience optimizing OpenSearch or ELK Stack performance.
• Experience deploying, operating, or monitoring infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience leading infrastructure initiatives or mentoring engineers.
