DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote, Baku

Salary: Up to $4,000 gross per month; compensation available in USD or USDT

What you will do

• Manage and scale GCP, AWS, and on-premise infrastructure, including Linux and Windows servers, virtual machines, and containers.
• Automate infrastructure and operational workflows with Terraform, Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters using Helm and GitOps practices.
• Design, build, and maintain GitLab and GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and support network infrastructure covering TCP/IP, DNS, routing, NAT, firewalls, VPNs, and BGP.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting; investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, document solutions, and use AI tools to improve scripting and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with GCP or AWS, Linux and Windows administration, virtual machines, and containers.
• Production experience running Kubernetes and working with Helm.
• Strong skills in Terraform, Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or GitHub.
• Experience with secure, compliant infrastructure, including PCI DSS, SOC2, access management, network segmentation, host hardening, and secrets management.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI-powered assistants for scripting, automation, and troubleshooting.
