Sr. Technical Editor (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote in Canada; Pacific Time (PT) hours required, with a West Coast location strongly preferred. Legal entitlement to work in Canada is required.

Base salary: $90,000–$135,000 CAD per year, plus variable/incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Perform developmental, copy, and substantive editing of cybersecurity intelligence reports and products.
• Apply editorial standards, the CrowdStrike Intelligence Style Guide, and quality-control checklists.
• Manage publishing workflows, schedules, queues, and checklists to deliver time-sensitive products on schedule.
• Collaborate with analysts, editorial peers, production stakeholders, and management while maintaining editorial integrity.
• Identify publication issues and bottlenecks, solve problems independently, and improve team processes and resources.
• Train and mentor junior editors and new hires, sharing technical knowledge and supporting skill development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Exceptional command of English grammar, mechanics, style, and syntax.
• Proven experience editing under structured corporate or technical style guides.
• Ability to perform editorial tasks independently, apply sound judgment, and resolve problems of moderate scope.
• Self-starter mindset and commitment to continuous professional development.
• Ability to work Pacific Time hours and maintain legal entitlement to work in Canada.
