Executive - Accounts Payable (Logistics)

What you will do

• Validate payment requests and ensure accurate recording in the exp.o accounting system.
• Review accruals and cost provisions, resolve differences and under- or over-provisions, and escalate unresolved issues affecting the closing process.
• Carry out general accounting functions, including fixed assets, period closing, bookkeeping, monthly and statutory reporting.
• Prepare, review, and analyze GL account reconciliations and ensure timely, accurate team output.
• Support BIR, year-end statutory, and Central Headquarters audits, including preparation and submission of audit requirements.
• Review service-provider invoices and receipts for compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the EOPT law, and suggest system or process improvements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting-specific experience.
• Relevant experience in audit and compliance.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance, local tax laws, and the global logistics industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel formulas and pivot tables.
• Strong organizational, analytical, report-writing, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with financial and non-financial stakeholders at all organizational levels, including regional counterparts, Operations, and Senior Management.
• Proven leadership attitude and skills; ability to drive change and work autonomously.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional Accounting, Product, Sales, Account Management, and Legal teams.
• Emotional resilience, openness to feedback, integrity, reliability, accuracy, approachability, initiative, and a supportive attitude toward change.
